On May 11th 2012 at exactly 31 minutes past midnight… paper + lace was born.

And oh what a year (ok, 7 months) it has been!

Thanks to your incredible support, my little blog is growing every day. I am amazed, overwhelmed and inspired by all of you who are enjoying the blog, my Facebook Page, and my recent found obsession Pinterest.

I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas + a Happy New Year, and hope that wherever you are, and whoever you are with, you take a moment to feel grateful for the beautiful people and simple pleasures in your everyday life.

My three personal resolutions for 2013?

1. Be kind to myself.

No-one is perfect, and things cannot go swimmingly 100% of the time. Enjoy the ride regardless.

2. Sit still and breathe.

Life is a journey, not a destination. Breathe goddammit!

3. Read, read, read, and meditate.

Learn, learn, learn, and relax.

I will be back on the 7th of January with some rather snazzy changes to the blog, and will continue to post pure pretties on Facebook. Sweetbix.
