In three words describe each other as individuals…
Thoughtful, Protective, Dynamic
How did you meet?
We met at a flatmates party when Id moved into a new flat. He thought I was rude to him all night but I WAS NOT! I acually really noticed him when he helped get rid of a guy who was really drunk and bothering us!
In three words describe your wedding style…
Inspired by nature
What were your save and splurge items for your wedding?
Save on everything! We knew we wanted to buy a house in the same year and we have two wee boys so spending large amounts of money on anything was just not an option. The things we really wanted to invest in were a good wedding photographer and a videographer.
What advice would you give to future brides to be? Any tips or tricks?
Anything you can do to lessen the stress then it’s worth it! Also don’t be swayed by people telling you what you should or shouldn’t do. OH AND! Choose some people to have beside you that you know will be everything you need on the day! My Bridesmaids and MC were 100% totally amazingly wonderful!
What music did you play for those special moments?
We played Golden Love for me walking down the aisle by Midnight Youth. I think we wanted a New Zealand song and it was a song wed both heard and loved. We had our first dance to Michael Buble’s Everything we are not great formal dancers and it was upbeat and fun!
