This week I am feeling super grateful for the small things in life! Here are four of my favourites…
– On Wednesday my 82 year old Nana and I spent the day driving up to visit my Grandfathers grave (who died a year ago this week) We shared an energy drink, a few double browns (afterwards) and giggled a whole lot.
– On the way we managed to spend up a storm at the Red Cross shop (I came home with a new pair of jeans, some swanky lined winter pants, a New Zealand made grey wool swing coat, two brand new summer tops, a fancy pants silk scarf and an ornate vintage candle holder ALL for $2 in TOTAL) It was stuff a bag day for $2. Insanity!
– Hubby is off to Stewart Island on a two week hunting trip this Saturday, so I am savouring every last minute with him before he goes. I am writing this in bed, because although he is asleep, at least I get to look at his super cute squishy sleeping face. The snoring is a little distracting though.
– Daylight savings sure does bring about a sense of spring (soon to be summer) fun. And although it has me looking closely at my white winter legs, ick, I am looking forward to more of these warmer nights sitting on the deck listening to the sea. You beauty.
Anywaysies, before I bore you half to death, here are some of the other great things I have recently discovered.
This fabulicious round up of Ceremony Arch Inspiration over on Chic Vintage Brides had me drooling for all things rustic and floral. Miss Josie from Inky and Bright (and fab decoration company Wink) always rounds up the most gorgeous of goodies. If you haven’t already checked out her blog, then hop right to it! Here are a few lovely things she has Enjoy!

I have always been a fan of the lovely Lucy Rice Photography so when Lucy let me know about a new and exciting joint venture with her fabulous photographer friend Johanna MacDonald, I thought it best that I share the good news!
Lucy & Jo have joined forces, and have a brand new Destination Wedding Photography page. They are offering a very sweet deal to kick-start their new site for any couples planning to get hitched overseas AND are giving one lucky couple the chance to grab a super special 2 for 1 deal!…
Have a fancy pants weekend beautiful people xox
