Tomorrow my kick ass hubby and I will be celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary (and my 33rd birthday, gulp). In the past three years we have moved 3 times (to totally different areas of the South Island), became an aunty and uncle, had 18 puppies, lost 3 dogs, gained a cat and a goat, finally found a place to call home and have spent 156 months trying to get pregnant including our recent first failed attempt with IVF. Phew it has been a busy time, and while it might all sound a little crapola it has actually made our relationship stronger than ever.
While I am definitely no expert on the secrets to a happy marriage (especially after only 3 years of it) today I give you ten tips that every woman should know agreed upon by both hubby and I (even if we are still trying to master them). If you’re still planning your wedding, I also suggest you read Avoiding Wedding Planning Arguments for some good advice on navigating everything from finances to prenups!
For those married already, we love our ‘I still do‘ wedding anniversary journal.
Have you got a tip for a happy marriage? I would love to hear it (heck the more the merrier!) Enjoy.

Hey Jaimee! Oh glad you liked it! It not always easy to stick to them but I really think they work to make marriage bliss! xox

Couldn’t agree more! My husband and I just celebrated 4 years of marriage, and we make a habit of these things 🙂
