Tabi & Roy. A Wellington Waterfront Wedding With An Alternative Twist by Sarah McEvoy Photography

I go a little ga-ga over tattooed brides and alternative wedding dresses, so today’s wedding is a treat indeed! Tabi & Roy said I do on Wellington’s waterfront (the Welly wind certainly lived up to it’s reputation, but I think it makes the photos (and dress!) look EXTRA fab) and everything was beautifully captured by the incredibly lovelySARAH MCEVOY PHOTOGRAPHY. I will leave you in Sarah’s hands to tell you a little more about the day…

Tabi & Roy were married in Days Bay, Wellington. A very intimate and homemade celebration on Tabi’s Parents deck. I’ve said it before but Tabi has been my biggest champion this summer, every so often a bride comes along that connects and trusts so completely in my photography that it blows me away. Tabi told me lots about what her and Roy had built, made, and planned so I had a good idea of what was most important to them. I typically like to stealth my way around at a wedding, hopefully people will forget I’m even there, well this gang was having none of that! They totally took me in, unfazed by the camera between us. – Sarah McEvoy Photography
